The Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the shortlists for this year's Atlantic Writing Competition for Unpublished Manuscripts. The winners will be announced the week of April 18th, 2016.

The winning authors will read from their manuscripts at the Celebration of Emerging Writers on Saturday, May 7th at 1 PM. The reading and prize presentation will take place at 1113 Marginal Road, Halifax. The graduates of the Alistair MacLeod Mentorship Program will also be reading from their work at this event. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating these emerging voices in Atlantic Canadian writing.
