Marjorie Speed lives a multifaceted life as a piano teacher, watercolour painter and writer. She also has many other interests, such as playing the flute, gardening and tending a large Victorian house. Marjorie's everyday life is the inspiration for her writing and painting as reflected in her children's book, Alexander's Sky Blue Eggs and her exploration of nurturing creativity, From Washdays to Watercolours: A Guide to Creativity for Teachers.
