Brief Biography
Thea E, Smith's first novel, She Let Herself Go (ISBN 0-7862-3704-X), was published by Thorndike Press.
Before turning to fiction, Thea wrote and edited legal, technical, and scientific articles and books. For several years she was the author of the popular column "DFO on Science", which explained fisheries research to a lay audience.
Thea is currently president of the Columbia Music Company, one of North America's oldest publishers of sheet music for the classical guitar. She is also finishing another novel, titled Me, Myself, and Her.
