Her articles have appeared in over 60 Canadian and American magazines including AAA Living, Open To The World, Saltscapes, iQ Magazine, VIA Destinations, GoMedia, Imperial Oil Review, Atlantic Business Magazine and the European Reporter. Her cover stories and profiles span the worlds of business, lifestyle and travel to name a few. She's created short documentaries for CBC radio; writes advertorial copy, brochures, and web content for a variety of corporate clients; does script writing for videos; and pens a cooking column for The Atlantic Cooperator.

One of her passions is teaching and she travels the Atlantic provinces giving freelance and creative writing workshops. She also wrote a book about Canadian inventors titled Risk Takers and Innovators - Great Canadian Business Ventures since 1950 (Altitude Publishing, 2004) and a young reader's book titled Pierre Elliott Trudeau: the prankster who never flinched (JackFruit Press Ltd., 2005). She's recently contributed major sections to the 2008 editions of D.K. Eyewitness Travel Guide and Fodor's Travel Guide (Atlantic Canada). In her spare time, Sandra writes poetry and fiction and teaches Tai Chi at the Y. Once in a blue moon, you can find her canoeing in the wilderness.
