Veronica Leonard

Brief Biography

Veronica Leonard has been a freelance writer for the past twenty-five years. She recently took early retirement from the federal public service where she had worked as an Employment Programs Consultant and a Communications Consultant in order to dedicate her time to full time writing. She moved to Dartmouth, NS, seven years ago from New Brunswick. Veronica began her writing career as a correspondent for the Moncton Times Transcript and a columnist for the Sackville Tribune Post. She has written for over thirty regional, national and international magazines specializing in stories on travel, education, employment and entrepreneurship.

Veronica has been a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) for the last twenty years and is currently President of the Halifax Chapter.
