Virginia Hayden

Brief Biography

Virginia has many years of writing experience, originally with the publication of academic books and papers. Her first non-academic pieces were short fiction and non-fiction for publication and broadcast by CBC and BBC radio. Now she writes scripts for stage, screen and radio. Stage works have been produced in various venues in Canada, USA and in Australia.

Virginia's work has won a number of awards and been placed in many drama, screen and literary competitions. She has also acted as story consultant on short films in Los Angeles. Currently she is story consultant for a feature film to be shot in Europe, and her own feature script, Branded, is in pre-production in the UK. Currently, Virginia lives in England and Scotland.
