Born in St. Stephen, N.B., not far from the mysterious Lake Utopia with legends of its own monster, Paranormal/Mystery author Lina Gardiner loves to escape to a fictional world of her own making. Adding a touch of mystery, a hint of romance, vivid characters and mixing them up to see what transpires, is a recipe for Lina's enjoyment.
After being Published in the New Brunswick "We're Home" Magazine with the Cover story on the Fundy Trail Parkway, Lina decided it was time to write seriously. She's written several full-length and partial novels, two or three of which are always at publishers.
It took six years of serious writing to finally sell her first novel, Grave Illusions. Her editor at ImaJinn Books liked the characters so much she offered Lina a series before the novel even hit the shelves. Lina continues to write every day, and appreciates every chance she gets to make her writing stronger and better.

- "Grave Illusions is a solid supernatural action and mystery story that has just the right amount of romance - though some may clamber for more - and a mysterious cliffhanger ending that left me eager to read the next installment in the series. Having a latent interest in investigative sciences, I hope she plays up more of the forensics aspects in future volumes, and turns up the heat between the lovely Jess and stalwart Brittain. They produce some interesting sparks that are definitely worth investigating." - Reviewed by VampireRomanceBooks.Com
- "This is a stunning opening volume in a brilliant new series. Jess is a strong, smart heroine who is admirable in multiple ways, yet it is her softer side, how she relates to her brother, that adds true charm. I absolutely adored Regent, the brother who saved her soul. There is romance here, but it is not the priority of the plot, merely a delicious spice that enhances things. The forthcoming novels in the series should be wonderful, judging by this initial taste." - Reviewed by Amanda Kilgore
