The Introduction to Spoken Word workshop will focus on the very basics of spoken word poetry. The participants will learn how they can create their stage presence and will explore ways in which the poet moves the audience, while also taking care of themselves through the process. There will be time and space to both write and perform during this workshop to help each participant build a solid foundation.
