Kristin Bieber Domm

With family origins in Nova Scotia, Kristin Bieber Domm grew up in the heart of Detroit.  Childhood memories infuse her writing, as do her experiences in Kenya and India, and in the classroom as a language arts and English-as-a-second language teacher for twenty-seven years.  Kristin writes for adults and young people—creative nonfiction and magazine articles as well as educational material and picture books (with illustrator, Jeffrey C. Domm).  Kristin has earned degrees in linguistics, education, and literacy education, and currently teaches writing and graduate education courses at Mount Saint Vincent University.  In addition to writing and teaching, she plays bassoon with the Wyndrock Quintet.
